また、人が認識する音は、その周波数が倍になると「元の音より1オクターブ上の同じ音」として認識されます。 例えば、440Hzのラの音(A)が880Hzになると「1オクターブ上のラの音(A)になった」といった具合です。

無限音階はこれらの性質を利用した「音の錯覚」として米国の認知科学者、Roger Shepard氏によって発見され、彼により「シェパード・トーン(Shepard tone)」と名づけられました。

その後、さまざまな研究者やアーティストにより、無限音階のバリエーションが発表されましたが、いずれも録音スタジオで製作されたものや、特別な音楽制作環境や機材などが必要とされていました。

視覚的な錯覚で不思議な感覚が体験できるものは数多く見受けられますが、もっと手軽に無限音階を体験できたら、という思いからこの"INFINITE SWEEP"を開発しました。

メインオシレーターとは逆の動きをするリバースSWEEPオシレータもミックスすることもできます。
画面下部のスワイプで LPF, Flanger, Delay, Pan, Reverbといったエフェクトも使用可能です。

また、精神集中する瞑想などでこの「上がり(下がり)続ける音に集中する」といった用途にも使えるのではないかと考えられます。

以下を確認、調整してみてください。

・デバイス本体のボリュームは上がっていますか？
・デバイス本体のマナーモード(サイレントモード)スイッチがOnになっていませんか？
・LowPassFilterのFreqが0の位置になっていませんか？Freqを調整してみてください。
・DelayのDryWetがMaxでLPFが0になっていませんか？ DryWet, LPFを調整してみてください。
